BIG QUESTION DISCIPLINE/S

So my big question is, How would the world be if we all had different stories of the people around us? For example instead of thinking that the first Mexican we see is a dirty immigrant, why don't we think of them as who they actually are and see their real story, not just the stereotypical story?

Fields or disciplines that are used or can be used in this question are: 

- the history on racism 

- how our mind automatically thinks 

- how we think of the worst possibilities or answers first  

- how to change our perspective on life
- stereotypes
